So, here we have made an innovative project named SHOPIFY which will make a shopping cart smart, in the way that the cart will automatically generate bills and the cart can move automatically. The cart system consists of an RFID reader which is controlled by a PIC microcontroller. So, whenever the shopper puts any product in the cart it is been detected by It detects it, and the price increases accordingly. In case the customer changes his/her mind and doesn’t want any product added to the cart, he can remove it, and the price added will be deducted automatically. At the end of shopping, the shopper presses the button, which on being pressed adds up all the products along with the price and gives the total bill to be paid. We also introduced a system to send bills directly to the registered mobile. The cart also contains a system for automatic movement of the cart by using a combination of obstacle detection using an ultrasonic sensor and line follower. Hence, the system is appropriate for use in places such as supermarkets, where it can aid in reducing manpower and creating a better shopping experience for its customers by reducing shopping time.
