In edge-cloud computing, a set of edge servers are deployed close to the mobile devices such that these devices can offload jobs with low latency to the servers. One of the fundamental and challenging problems in edge-cloud systems is how to dispatch and schedule the jobs to achieve the minimum average response time of a job. In this paper, we focus on a general model of the problem where jobs can be generated in any order and at any time on mobile devices and offloaded to servers with both upload and download delays. The weight depends on how latency-sensitive the job is. We designed the first online job dispatching and scheduling algorithm in edge clouds that is scalable in the speed augmentation model: OnDisc, which is competitive for any constant. Moreover, OnDisc can also be easily implemented in distributed systems. Extensive simulations on a real-world data-trace from Google show that OnDisc can dramatically reduce the total weighted response time compared to heuristic algorithms. graphic design, blogging, video editing, and content rewriter, are some online works.

All of this is exactly the objective of Labour Market Intelligence, a field relevant to the design and evaluation of EU Labour Market policies. It indeed represents a competitive advantage to labor market stakeholders over the classical survey-based analyses because it would reduce the time to market for the analysis by moving towards fact-based decision-making. We show here an approach for the automatic classification of millions of best online jobs vacancies against a standard taxonomy of occupations. We will show how this problem has been expressed in terms of text classification via machine learning.
